With over 200,000 squash players in Canada, a multitude of local tournaments, 10 annual national championships, a national team comprised of the sport’s best role models, and a well-established network of clubs and professionals, the sport has endless opportunities to grow.
Squash Canada athletes compete in major international multi-sport games such as the Commonwealth Games and the Pan American Games, as well as the World Squash Team Championships. Squash Canada, in conjunction with local clubs like Smiths Falls, continue to build its sporting brand while growing the game across the country and around the world.
Squash is a fun and challenging contest of agility, strategy, talent, mental and physical strength. It is an incredibly beneficial game for health and fitness and has been voted the number one healthiest sport by Forbes Magazine. Along with its health benefits, squash can be played year-round, in all kinds of weather, and by players of any skill level – making it a sport for everyone to love!
Our Smiths Falls club features two beautiful squash courts, a spectator’s gallery, a gym, and locker/shower rooms. These facilities are attached to the curling club, making it a very lively place especially during the winter.
Squash players can join as just squash members, or they can add curling to their membership for a very small upgrade fee.
Members have access to the squash courts 24/7 through a key-fob entrance directly to the courts. Non-members are welcome to play when accompanied by a member for $10 (adults) or $5 (students up to 19 and Seniors).
We welcome squash players, both experienced or brand new. You can always find someone in the club playing at or slightly above your level.
